. . . but more often it's usually me, the client and their chef!
Possibly more than in any other area of photography you need to get this right. A wonderful dish of evocative food, presented beautifully on a splendid plate, can be represented visually as an inedible mess by a well meaning casual snap. Attention to detail is paramount, along with the right construction of the plated elements, the freshness of those items, the lighting and composition.
I have been lucky enough to photograph food for many of the top restaurants and hotels within the Cumbria and Lancashire area, the dishes have been stunning and I have enjoyed the many samples after the shoot! Food and drink can also be shot in landscape locations and of course in my studio.
Mouthwatering, vibrant images of your products to enhance your service or sales. I am ideally situated to work throughout Cumbria, Yorkshire and Lancashire, but cover Scotland and all areas of the UK.
